First of all, thank you for being here.
About the story of PRESENCIA, it began with scissors and many questions back in Culiacán. Sleepless nights. Writing, erasing, rewriting, and erasing again. Cutouts, seams on the outside, glued hems, knots, and uneven stitches (there were many). A fixation. A tremendous infatuation with the wonderful "flaws." Hanging threads, endless holes, and my fingers all pecked.
What happened to your new jacket?
It's not a jacket anymore, I cut off the sleeves and now it's a vest.
And the pants your grandparents gave you?
I made it into a skirt, I like it better that way.
